In every diet plan that we see, snack is either limited to fruits or other natural food. But today, you can enjoy snacks that you usually eat at movie theaters without adding those extra pounds. Another healthy snack for TV time is pistachios. This snack is full of anti-oxidants, good fats and fiber. In a half cup of this snack it only has 170 calories having 6 grams of protein and also 3 grams fiber. Though, the said serving also contains 14 grams fat so it still should be eaten in small amounts. But the secret to eating slowly is its shells which is hard to remove.

Not all people want to eat fruits or vegetable for snack but red grapes are packed with vitamins and anti-oxidants. Even if you eat a large amount of this you will not have any problems because it will never add to your weight. The anti-oxidants will help in removing toxins from the body and the vitamins will shield you from diseases. In addition, red grapes taste sweet as candy so there is really nothing to complain about.

Of course, a healthy snack will not be complete without any drinks. Instead of going for sodas, light beer or coffee, drink green tea instead. This drink will help increase the body’s metabolism to digest the food faster.
